WHY IS THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT WITH FIRE SO IMPORTANT? |

Even Jesus as God received extra “power” of the Holy Spirit as a dove (similar to our Baptism of the Holy Spirit), Act 10:38, Math 3:16. Gods will and spirituality is always received by the “power” of the Holy Spirit while self will is forced because it is blind to Gods purpose, time, and direction. This “powerful” anointing is the key factor in receiving Gods will over our will! |

IS THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT THE SAME AS THE BAPTISM OF REPENTANCE OF SIN (being born again by faith)? |

Both use the word Baptism, but they are 2 different steps. “I (John) indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he (Jesus)... SHALL (no question here) baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire Math 3:11 KJV”. John argued Jesus did not need the Baptism unto repentance of sin because Jesus was sinless. Jesus was baptized by John anyway as an example for us Math 3:14-15. |

HOW DO I GET THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT! |

Almost every scripture reference mentions speaking in tongues. “...Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues... Act 19:6 KJV”. “And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues... Act 2:4 KJV” . |

WHY SHOULD SPEAKING IN TONGUES MATTER? |
|
Mans prayer to God is special, the Holy Spirit's intersession for us in Gods own language is vital! “...For WE DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO PRAY FOR AS WE OUGHT, but the SPIRIT HIMSELF INTERCEDES for us with groanings which cannot be uttered Rom 8:26” and “no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God 1Co 2:11”. Tongues is used not just a gift but as a form of prayer. As a major control center for good and evil, life and death Prov 18:21, 1 Peter 3:10, it makes sense that God wants control over our tongue at times! This inward willingness to receive/speak in tongues helps Christians know “the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. Rom 8:27”. |

HOW DO I SPEAK IN TONGUES? |
|
The easiest way is to just start saying anything, even if it sounds like baby talk. Jesus will faithfully do his part and give you a prayer language. A friend can help. Some people take several days getting into the habit with much discouragement and ridicule from the devil. Tongues can be a modern language, ancient language or spiritual language. |

Rejecting tongues to me was the same as rejecting all of Gods gifts for many years. |

PROPER USE OF TONGUES |
|
Free for all disorder is not the proper way to worship in tongues. Paul put practical limitations on how and when to speak in tongues “If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret. But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak (continue to pray in tongues) to himself , and to God 1Co 14:27-8 KJV” . Paul also taught not to forbid tongues “...and do not forbid speaking in tongues 1Co 14:39 ESV” . |
